I spoke about Plaxo and explained how I liked it. But, Plaxo now really strikes strong. New version 3 (beta) enables to synchronize with Outlook, Outlook express, Mac OS, Thunderbird, Yahoo, MSN, Gmail. Moreover, Plaxo now manages very well the synchronization of your calendars. Lastly, Plaxo becomes social (it is not too early, but cheer nevertheless): a Pulse function allow to better present yourself, to list your feeds (blog, amazon, flickr). You can automatically see the last articles and the last Flickr pictures of your own contacts.

Another new feature, Plaxo now manages several languages for the interface.

It now misses only two major elements:

• features of social networking, to be able to meet new people through the networks of your contacts, but I think that the partnership with linkedin must surely prevent this option.
• a tool for connexion moderation (like the xing one), because it is not very good to automatically give your business card to somebody who has just your email! An option exists, which prevents it but that becomes too difficult to manage.
